Mzansi Snails is a 100% Woman owned and run company located in Midrand, Johannesburg.

With a passion for snails, and all living creatures, we have a strict non-cruelty policy. Every measure is taken to ensure that our snails are not subjected to cruelty or pain.

Our snails are lovingly raised and bred and given every luxury that a snail could wish for.

This includes the best food and a clean and hygienic living environment.

The Growth Stages of Mzansi Snails

Snail eggs

Snail eggs are pure white and perfectly round. They are often referred to as White Pearls.

Hatchlings

The white eggs become translucent as they grow into hatchlings

Morphs

Morphs are adorable. This is when they start moving around

Toddlers

An adventurous spirit sets in at this stage. Snails aren't always slow!

Teenager

At the teenager stage the shell starts hardening. But these little guys aren't naughty like human teenagers!

Adults

The adult snails have beautiful variants in colour on their fully hardened shells
